During the holidays, elf scouts from the North Pole visit families all over the world. Their job? To make sure kids stay on their best behaviour before Santa visits!
The UHNBC Pediatric Unit in Prince George is no exception! The unit’s mischievous elf can be found in different spots around the unit during Christmas time.
“It’s the night team’s job to help the elf every night,” says Sandra Wyatt, Child Life Specialist with the Pediatric Unit. “They help him all through December right up until Christmas Eve.”
The silly elf antics can help bring a smile to the sick children that are staying on the unit. According to Sandra, the team gets very creative helping him perform his magical elf scout duties.
Thanks to the UHNBC Pediatric Unit Team and to Mr. Elf for helping keep spirits high!
