Dear You,
If you’re reading this, it means you’re here. And that matters more than you might realize.
Maybe today feels heavy. Maybe it’s been heavy for a long time. Maybe you’re tired, overwhelmed, or feeling like the world would be better without you. If that’s where you are right now, I want you to know something very important:
You are not alone.
There are people - right here in Northern BC and beyond - who care deeply about you, even if you haven’t met them yet. People who want to listen, to help, to walk beside you through the dark until you can see light again.
It’s okay to feel broken. It’s okay to feel lost. But please don’t believe the lie that you don’t matter. You do. Remember, you’ve made it through all of the other bad days. Your story is still unfolding, and there are chapters ahead filled with connection, healing, laughter, and love. You might not see them yet, but they’re waiting for you.
You are more than your pain. You are more than your worst day. You’re stronger than you think. You are a whole person, worthy of kindness, compassion, and hope.
If you’re struggling, please reach out. Talk to a friend. Call a crisis line. Visit a health care provider. There is help. There is hope. And there is a future for you.
You are needed. You are loved. You are enough.
Stay. The world is better with you in it.
With all the hope in my heart,
A friend who cares (even if we haven’t met yet).
