What do you get when you have a giant truck, add many amazing people, plus nearly three days of hard work? Big smiles that make it all worth it!

In April, Northern Health staff teamed up to unpack, assemble, clean, and replace 120 split rail beds at Peace Villa in Fort St. John. Many of the old beds were able to be reused – they were donated to community organizations including the Fort St. John & District Palliative Care Society, and to individuals caring for loved ones with special needs. The Peace Villa team would like to thank the Fort St. John Hospital housekeeping team, Angus Consulting Management Ltd., and Stryker Canada for the help to make this possible. Great work, all!
