Starting today, some community members can begin to call and book their COVID-19 vaccine appointment at one of more than 30 vaccine clinic locations across the North. In Northern Health, Seniors 90+ and Indigenous peoples aged 65+ can start calling March 8; seniors 80+ can start calling March 10 in most communities.
The Province of BC has released more information about Phase 2 of the COVID-19 immunization plan, which focuses on protecting our seniors and Elders. Beginning March 8, 2021, seniors aged 80 and older, and Indigenous peoples aged 65 and older, who are not living in independent or seniors’ supportive housing can call to book their appointment through the Northern Health call centre.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Terrace Art Gallery was very busy with opening night galas, art workshops, and kids’ camps. The COVID-19 safety restrictions initially made it difficult for the gallery’s board and staff to follow their mandate ‘to enrich local and regional culture by providing a continuous exposure to the visual arts and encouraging community involvement through outreach, education and service.’
