Go By Bike Weeks start October 16 - 23

Did you know Fall GoByBike Weeks are coming up from October 16-29, 2023? Here in the North, we never know when we’ll get hit with our first snowfall – which for many of us, marks the end of biking season. However, I’m here to tell you that on a beautiful fall day, there are few better feelings than riding through the crisp air with the sound of crunching leaves below your tires. If you’re lucky enough to get a nice day – or several – during GoByBike Weeks, grab the opportunity to get another ride in! You won’t regret it.

Register now to participate in GoByBike Weeks as an individual; as part of a work, school, friend, or family team; or as a larger community-connecting event! It’s free to participate and there are many great prizes to be won, including an e-bike draw when you log a “mode shift” ride (AKA – a non-recreational ride, or when you choose to bike instead of drive to a destination).

Do you feel nervous riding with traffic? If so, you're not alone! Safety concerns are a very common reason people choose not to bike, especially in smaller towns with less cycling infrastructure. Learning biking skills and the rules around sharing the road with vehicles can help increase confidence and safety for everyone on the road.
