Northern Health has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at St. Ann’s School in Quesnel after COVID-19-positive cases were identified among staff and students.
To date, 27 cases of COVID-19 are associated with the outbreak, the result of several smaller clusters of cases. Outbreak-associated cases are those who had tested positive and were in the school setting during their potentially infectious period, but does not mean they acquired COVID-19 in the school environment.
Ongoing monitoring and testing has not identified additional COVID-19 cases associated with an outbreak declared at Peace Villa on November 4, 2021.
To date, three residents and three staff have tested positive for COVID-19 in association with the outbreak. Sadly, one resident who had tested positive in association with this outbreak has passed away. Northern Health extends condolences to the family, friends and caregivers of this individual.
Northern Health Medical Health Officers have declared a COVID-19 outbreak at the Laurier Manor assisted living facility in Prince George, BC. At the time of the outbreak declaration, there have been two lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 among facility residents.

Northern Health Medical Health Officers have declared an end to two COVID-19 outbreaks on the Primary Care Medical (PCMU), and Internal Medicine (IMU) Units (PCMU) at the University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC) in Prince George.
Since the outbreak was declared on PCMU on September 24, 2021, 20 patients and nine staff tested positive in association with the outbreak. Two patients who had tested positive, passed away.
