Lara Frederick



Lara is the Regional Manager for Public Health Practice in Northern Health (NH)’s Population and Public Health team. This leadership role allows Lara to do what she loves the most: team development, practicing leadership, teaching, and coaching. Lara loves to envision what the future could hold for population and public health in Northern Health and beyond. Lara enjoys working alongside many skilled leaders in NH and loves leading the Public Health Practice team as they continue to evolve and grow. Lara completed her Masters of Nursing, with a teaching focus, through Athabasca University in 2018.

Lara is currently exploring other educational opportunities to expand her knowledge, skills, and values. Beyond this role, Lara spends her time with her husband, raising their four children on the traditional territories of the Treaty 8 Peoples, the Dane Peoples, and the Northeast Metis Association. In her free time, Lara enjoys paper crafts, cardmaking, and scrapbooking.
