Showcasing the hidden gems of the North: #SnapsByStaff

#SnapsByStaff
#SnapsByStaff features Northern Health staff photos from across the North, like this gorgeous sunset in Prince Rupert captured by Suraj Gopal, Relational Security Services Officer.

Northern Health staff not only work in our facilities, they also live, learn, and play in Northern communities. While some were born and raised here, many have come to the region from other places for work, for the lifestyle, and for the opportunities for themselves and their families.

Living in the North comes with a special sense of community and pride in the villages, towns, and cities we call home. It’s not unusual to run into people you know when you’re visiting another Northern town, travelling through the “Northern” wing of Vancouver International Airport (if you know, you know!), or when you’re just out and about. That’s the beauty of Northern living.

We're celebrating the great North through our #SnapsByStaff campaign, where we’re encouraging staff to send us their own snapshots, so that we can share them once a week and shout out the hidden gems of the North.

Here’s a roundup of some of the ones we’ve shared so far!

Thanks to all those staff members who have submitted photos. Stay tuned to our Facebook, Instagram, and X channels to see if your community is included in our future features!
