Health Care Simulation Week celebrates the people and impact related to clinical simulation.

Join the Northern Clinical Simulation team as we celebrate Health Care Simulation Week from September 14-20, 2020! This week:

  • Recognizes professionals who use simulation to improve the safety, effectiveness, and efficiency of health care services.
  • Recognizes simulation educators and highlights the importance of clinical simulation.
  • Creates awareness around the impact simulation plays in health care, like leading to safer, more knowledgeable patient care.

Share Your Clinical Simulation Experience

We’re inviting everyone to share how clinical simulation has impacted their clinical knowledge or skills! Send an email to SimulationTeam@northernhealth.ca, detailing your experience. Submissions may be shared in future clinical simulation communications.

We look forward to celebrating Health Care Simulation Week along with everyone who has made the Northern Clinical Simulation program such a huge success.

In recent years, significant support from the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation and its donors has allowed the Northern Clinical Simulation program to buy newborn and one-year-old simulators that resemble real infants. This has made it possible for health care professionals to safely practise providing care to this age group; however, more help is needed: donate today.
