Stewart shares his musical gifts with the residents

Recreation therapy is an important service for our residents, and it’s wonderful to be able to welcome entertainers back to our long-term care facilities! Residents of Gateway Lodge in Prince George smiled and sang along to Stewart’s musical talents when he recently visited.

“I just try to do my best for the elders and bring them joy,” said Stewart about his volunteer experience.

Many of our long-term care and assisted living facilities are on the lookout for entertainment volunteers. If you have an entertaining skill or talent you’d like to share with our residents, please apply at www.nhvolunteer.ca.
