12 things to know this holiday season

We know the past two years have been really hard. Thank you for getting vaccinated against COVID-19 – you’re doing your part to help keep yourself, your family and your community safe and protected.

“We acknowledge that the pandemic has been very hard for many people, for a lot of different reasons,” says Dr. Jong Kim, NH Chief Medical Health Officer. “I want to thank you for getting immunized, which will help keep our hospitals open for treating people with other illnesses.”

“These temporary orders are what’s needed to help manage the spread of COVID-19,” says Dr. Kim. “But we want people to understand that they can still enjoy their holiday season safely, especially when they are immunized.”

Visit northernhealth.ca to find clear details about the regional orders and what this means for your holiday celebrations – for example, they allow for up to 10 additional people at personal gatherings in your home, and worship services can now resume with 50% capacity and proof of vaccination.
