Jess Place is the Executive Lead of Northern Health’s Regional Chronic Diseases Program. Prior to joining Northern Health in 2015, she worked as a researcher and instructor in the fields of Indigenous health and geographies, as well as nursing research. Jess has a PhD from Simon Fraser University, and has lived and worked in northern British Columbia for nearly 20 years.
