Derek MacDonald, a heavy duty mechanic at the mine in Tumbler Ridge, shares why he got the vaccine:
"I got it because my parents are aging and I didn’t want to bring it [the COVID-19 virus] back to them. I read the news – I believe the vaccines work and I have a bit of faith in science. I want to be able to travel again. I'm also a smoker so I'm at risk and I'd like the extra protection."
