Six people physical distance outside an office building.
Northern Health CEO Cathy Ulrich delivers a physically-distanced, outdoor kudos to the mySchedule team for their great work on the project.

Northern Health (NH) strives to make our values – empathy, respect, collaboration, and innovation – the core of what we do every day.

The Dr. Charles Jago Awards, named after our former board chair, acknowledge and celebrate the NH staff, physicians, and teams who have made outstanding contributions to the organization’s goals, reflecting our values in the process.

The winner under the “Innovation” category for 2020 is the mySchedule Team:

  • Lee-Ann Callihoo-Bowness
  • Devan Joneson
  • Leon Verhelst
  • Martin Stentrop
  • Tracie Smith
  • Parwinder Billing
  • Carla Cozza-Greco (retired)

Lesley Ash, the regional director of Workforce Optimization for Human Resources, describes the instant impact that a mySchedule feature made:

“Lee-Ann, Devan, Leon, Martin, and the HRIS team have recently completed regional implementation of a new technological enhancement to an existing business tool, mySchedule. The implementation of this enhancement is an example of one of the finest planned and executed projects within NH. Often, teams like the mySchedule team operate in the background and the incredible work they perform is hidden due to it not being patient-facing. The work on this project helped unlock efficiencies through automation and streamlined processes, which have an indirect effect on the care people receive because leaders and clinicians are gifted more time to care for the people we serve.”

Thank you to the mySchedule team for your hard work and commitment!
