COVID-19 – Wrinch Memorial Hospital outbreak declared over

Northern Health Medical Health Officers have declared an end to a COVID-19 outbreak at Wrinch Memorial Hospital.

In total since the outbreak was declared on September 27, 2021, there were eight patient and two staff cases of COVID-19, as well as one death of a patient who had tested positive in association with the outbreak.

Northern Health thanks patients and their families for their understanding and patience, and Wrinch Memorial Hospital staff and physicians for continuing to provide excellent care during the outbreak period.

NH Public Health continues to actively monitor and follow up all laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 among staff and patients at any NH facilities.
