Northern Health public health continues to closely monitor a COVID-19 outbreak declared September 5, 2021 at Jubilee Lodge long-term care facility in Prince George.
20 residents and three staff have tested positive for COVID-19 in association with this outbreak, and four additional resident cases were epidemiologically linked due to exposure with a confirmed case. Sadly, six residents have passed away in connection with this outbreak, two of whom were epi-linked.
There have not been any new lab-confirmed cases associated with the outbreak since September 10, 2021, and there are currently no active cases.
Enhanced outbreak control measures remain in effect at Jubilee Lodge, while public health officials continue to monitor the situation to there is no additional transmission of illness in the facility.
